AI reply tool for Reddit and X, in your voice
Two reply drafts per conversation in your own voice, held for your approval. Nothing posts by itself, because auto posted replies are what gets accounts banned.
By Max Gillespie, founder of Oetzi
An AI reply tool is only useful if the reply sounds like you and a human decides whether it goes out. For any conversation it finds, Oetzi drafts two reply variants in your voice and waits. You pick one, edit it, or throw both away. Nothing publishes without your approval.
Is there an AI tool to reply to Reddit posts?
Several, and most are built to post for you. That is the part to be careful about. Oetzi drafts and stops. Every match in your inbox has a draft reply button, and pressing it gives you two versions rather than one take it or leave it paragraph.
Two variants exist because the right reply depends on the room. One is shorter and more direct, the other carries more context. On Hacker News the second usually wins. In a fast moving thread on X the first does.
The conversations come from social listening, which sweeps seven platforms, and each arrives with an intent score so you spend your replies where they matter.
How does a reply sound like me and not like a bot?
From a voice doc built out of your own posts and writing samples. You feed it what you have already written, and it records how you actually sound: sentence length, how much hedging you do, what you call the thing you sell.
The voice doc improves through sounds like me votes. When a draft reads wrong you say so, and the next one is corrected. Edits and regenerations do not cost credits, so there is no reason to accept a draft that is only nearly right. The same voice doc writes your own posts, so your replies and your channel sound like one person.
Nobody should pretend the draft is finished. It is a first pass that removes the blank page, which matters most at hour two of a thread, where speed decides whether anyone reads you.
Why does auto posting replies get accounts banned?
Because platforms are good at spotting it and communities are better. Reddit treats a young account that replies to many threads with a product name as spam, and the outcome is a shadowban you may not notice for weeks. Once the account is gone, so is the history that made you credible there.
There is a second cost that has nothing to do with rules. A reply that misreads the room is worse than no reply. A bot cannot tell that the thread turned sarcastic three comments ago, or that the person asking already tried your product and hated it.
So the approval step is not a missing feature, it is the design. Oetzi never messages strangers and never sends cold email. It writes in public, under your name, after you say yes.
What about comments on my own posts?
Those get handled too. After you publish, reply checks run two and eight hours later and draft an answer to each comment that arrived. Those windows are where most of a post's comments land, and where most founders miss them because they already moved on.
The drafts wait for approval like everything else. Publishing goes through Postiz and is free, as are post metrics, so the only credits in this loop are the ones spent on the sweep that found the conversation and the run that drafted a post. Prices are on the pricing page.
Questions
Can AI write a reply to a Reddit post in my voice?
Yes, with a voice doc built from your own writing. Oetzi drafts two variants per conversation from it, and sounds like me votes correct it over time. Edits and regenerations are free, so you can push a draft until it reads right. You approve every reply before it is posted anywhere.
Does Oetzi post replies automatically?
No. Replies are drafted and held for your approval, always. Auto publishing exists for scheduled posts on your own channel and is off by default. In other people's threads the human step is deliberate, because auto posted replies are what gets accounts flagged as spam and eventually banned.
Why two reply drafts instead of one?
Because the right register changes by room. One variant is shorter and more direct, the other carries more context. Picking between two is faster than judging one in isolation, and you can edit either or regenerate for free until a draft sounds like something you would send.
Does it reply to comments on my own posts?
It drafts them. Reply checks run two and eight hours after you publish, read the comments that arrived, and write an answer to each. The drafts wait for you, and publishing through Postiz costs nothing, so following up on your own post is free.
