Pick Redreach if Reddit is the only place your buyers talk and you want a cheap, focused tool that watches subreddits and drafts replies. Pick Oetzi if Reddit is one of several places, you want every match scored and explained, and you want the same signal to feed your posts. The choice is mostly about how many rooms you need to be in.

What Redreach does well

Redreach does one thing and says so. It positions as "AI Reddit lead generation with unlimited subreddit monitoring", which means you are not paying for platforms you never open. Watching as many subreddits as you like matters on Reddit, where the conversation about your category is spread across a general subreddit, three niche ones, and a few you have never heard of. It drafts replies with AI, so the gap between seeing a thread and answering it is short. It also publishes its own comparison pages against ReplyGuy, Octolens, and Brand24, which tells you where it sees itself: cheaper than the monitoring suites, more careful than the auto-posters.

Where the fit differs

Reddit only versus seven platforms is the headline. Oetzi listens on X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Hacker News, and Substack Notes from one signal. You describe the conversation in a sentence, Oetzi compiles native searches for each platform and a scoring rubric, and one sweep runs across all of them. If your buyers are on Reddit and nowhere else, that breadth is wasted money. If a Hacker News thread or a Threads reply is where your last three users came from, Redreach cannot see it. The Reddit monitoring page covers how Oetzi handles Reddit specifically.

The second difference is what a match looks like. Oetzi scores each one 0 to 100 for buying intent, writes out the reason, and tags who is talking: buyer, current customer, feature request, or competitor user. Redreach drafts replies, and the vendor does not publish a scoring rubric we can cite, so compare the two inboxes on a trial before deciding which one you would actually read.

The third is what happens after the reply. Oetzi drafts posts from what the market said this week, tracks share of AI engine answers, and publishes through Postiz. Redreach is a Reddit tool and does not claim any of that. That is not a knock. It is a smaller, sharper product.

Both tools draft rather than write for you. Oetzi sends nothing without your approval. Redreach describes AI reply drafts, and we have not found a published statement on auto-posting, so check its own pages if that matters to you.

Pick Redreach if

  • Reddit is where your buyers are, full stop
  • You want the lowest monthly cost that still drafts replies
  • Watching a long list of subreddits matters more than cross-platform coverage
  • You already have a posting tool and do not want listening to touch it

Pick Oetzi if

  • Your buyers talk on Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, or Threads as well as Reddit
  • You want each match scored, explained, and tagged so you can skip the weak ones
  • You want threads to turn into posts through a posting plan
  • An agent in Claude Code or Cursor should run the same sweep with a credit cap

Questions

Is Redreach only for Reddit?

Yes. Redreach monitors Reddit and nothing else, and it positions itself that way on purpose. That focus is why it can price low and why its subreddit coverage is broad. If Reddit is your whole market it is a reasonable pick. If it is one channel among several, you will need a second tool alongside it.

Does Oetzi cover Reddit as well as a Reddit-only tool?

Oetzi compiles a native Reddit search for each signal, scores every match, and backfills the last seven days on setup. It starts from the conversation you describe rather than from a list of communities. Founders who think in subreddits may prefer Redreach's model. Founders who think in buying questions will prefer Oetzi's.

How do Redreach and Pulse for Reddit compare?

Both are Reddit-only tools with AI reply drafting. Pulse adds agency tracks and describes compliant posting. Redreach positions on price and broad subreddit coverage. We compare them directly on Redreach vs Pulse for Reddit, and either is a fair choice if Reddit is your only channel.

Oetzi is an AI marketer for founders who need users.
