Competitor facts are what their own pages said on September 16, 2026. “Not published” means we could not find it stated. Oetzi's numbers come from the same constants the pricing page reads. KWatch.io pricing

Pick KWatch.io if you want a cheap alert pipe that tells you when your keywords come up and whether the tone was positive or negative. Pick Oetzi if you want the conversation scored for whether someone is about to buy, with a reply drafted for you to approve. Sentiment tells you how a post felt. An intent score tells you whether it is worth your afternoon.

What KWatch.io does well

KWatch.io does the obvious thing well and charges very little for it. Keyword alerts across several channels with AI sentiment attached is a sound starter kit, and the free entry point means a founder can find out within a week whether anyone is talking about their space at all. That is a real service. Plenty of people buy an expensive listening tool before they have proof the conversation exists, and a cheap alert pipe answers that question first. Its site shows the plans.

Which channels it covers is not something the vendor publishes in detail, so check before you rely on it for a specific platform.

Sentiment against buying intent

Sentiment classifies the mood of a post. It does not tell you whether the person writing it is choosing a tool, already paying a competitor, or venting about a category they will never buy in. Those are different situations and they deserve different responses.

Social listening in Oetzi is built around that second judgement. You describe the conversation you want in one sentence. Oetzi compiles native searches for X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Hacker News, and Substack Notes, attaches a scoring rubric, backfills seven days, and sweeps on your cadence. Each match gets an intent score from 0 to 100 with the reason written out, and a tag for who is talking: buyer, current customer, feature request, competitor user. Translation is free.

The bigger gap is what arrives with the alert. KWatch sends the mention. Oetzi sends the mention, the score, the reason, and two reply drafts in your voice that you approve or throw away. Matches land in an inbox, in Slack when connected, and by text. Nothing publishes on its own.

Pick KWatch.io if

  • You are checking whether anyone talks about your space yet and want to spend almost nothing.
  • Sentiment is the signal you care about, for example watching for a bad week.
  • You write all your own replies and only need a nudge when something appears.
  • You want the simplest possible alert pipe with no workflow attached.

Pick Oetzi if

  • You want the few conversations where someone is deciding, not every keyword match.
  • You want the reason for the score written out so you can trust or overrule it.
  • You want two reply drafts in your voice waiting when you open the inbox.
  • You want the same conversations to feed what you post, through a posting plan.

Questions

Is sentiment analysis useful for finding customers?

It is useful for spotting trouble and measuring mood over time. It is weak at finding buyers, because a neutral post asking which tool to use is often the most valuable thing in the feed and a positive post praising a competitor may be worth nothing to you. Oetzi scores buying intent instead and writes out the reason, so you can judge the call yourself.

Do I need a paid listening tool at all?

Not at the very start. A free alert pipe will tell you whether your keywords appear anywhere, and that is a fair first experiment. The moment the feed gets long enough that you stop reading it, scoring and drafting start paying for themselves. Oetzi is free to try with 10 credits and reading the inbox never costs anything.

What does Oetzi do that an alert tool cannot?

It decides what deserves an answer and writes the answer. Every match is scored 0 to 100 for buying intent with the reasoning shown, tagged by who is talking, and paired with two reply drafts in your voice. The same conversations then feed your posting plan, so the week's posts respond to what your market actually said.

Oetzi is an AI marketer for founders who need users. It finds the threads where people ask for a product like yours on seven platforms, checks whether the AI engines recommend you, and drafts replies, posts, and short video in your voice. You approve everything. 100 credits included, 10 free to try with no card, 50 bonus credits with the first payment.
