Pick Apaya if you want your social accounts handled for you and would rather not think about them again. Pick Oetzi if you want to stay in the loop but stop staring at a blank composer, because it listens to seven platforms, scores the conversations, and drafts posts and replies from what your market said. Apaya takes the work off your desk. Oetzi puts better input on it.

What Apaya does well

Apaya is a done-for-you AI social media manager built for SaaS companies, and that focus is the strength. A tool that only serves software companies can assume things a general purpose one cannot: a technical audience, a buying cycle full of comparison, and a busy founder. It ranks a page aimed at SaaS companies and publishes alternative posts against Postiz, Ocoya, and Predis. If your honest position is that social will never get your attention, a done-for-you service beats any tool you will not open. Its site has the details.

Posting without listening

The gap is the input. Apaya does not listen to social platforms, so its posts come from your product and a content plan rather than from what people said this week.

Oetzi runs the other way round. Social listening across X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Hacker News, and Substack Notes surfaces the threads where people are choosing a tool, complaining about the one they have, or asking for a feature you shipped. Every match is scored 0 to 100 for buying intent with the reason written out, and those threads are the brief. A posting plan sets the cadence per platform and drafts one post per run with the day's trend research included, in a voice built from your own writing.

Both ends stay under your control. Oetzi drafts two replies in your voice for any conversation and publishes nothing without approval. Autopilot for scheduled posts exists and is off by default, and publishing through Postiz costs nothing.

Handing it over against keeping your hands on it

This is really a question about founder voice. Early on, social works for software companies because a real person with opinions is posting, and a service can dilute that even when the copy is good.

The counter-argument is real. A founder who posts nothing is not preserving voice, they are absent. If Apaya ships three posts a week and you would have shipped zero, it wins on the only metric that counts.

Pick Apaya if

  • You want social handled for you and you will not open a tool to do it
  • You are a SaaS company and want a service already shaped for that
  • Consistent output matters more to you than the posts sounding exactly like you

Pick Oetzi if

  • You want posts drafted from what the market said this week rather than from a content calendar
  • You want to find and answer the threads where someone is deciding now
  • You want share of model tracked so you know if AI engines name you yet

Questions

Does Apaya monitor conversations?

The vendor does not publish a listening feature, so treat it as posting rather than monitoring. Its job is getting good content out on your accounts consistently. Oetzi listens across seven platforms, scores each match for buying intent, and drafts a reply for the ones worth answering. The two sit on opposite sides of one workflow.

Will Oetzi write posts that sound like me?

It builds a voice doc from your own posts and samples, then tunes it with "sounds like me" votes as you review drafts. One drafting run produces one to three variants of a post on one platform, and edits, rewrites, and regenerations cost nothing, so you can push a draft until it reads right.

Can I use Oetzi and still schedule everything in one place?

Yes. Oetzi publishes through Postiz, which reaches more than thirty platforms, and publishing is free. You can set a cadence per platform, leave autopilot off and approve each post, or turn it on once you trust the drafts. Post metrics and the scoreboard come back to the same place, free.

Oetzi is an AI marketer for founders who need users. It finds the threads where people ask for a product like yours on seven platforms, checks whether the AI engines recommend you, and drafts replies, posts, and short video in your voice.
